The card is the gift
Most birthday cards are read once. These are played with. The front of the card is the stage: when the birthday person scans it, the scene starts and they can tap, swipe and blow. It takes a minute, and that minute is remembered.
Pick by age and taste
- Kids: games win. The piñata, the kart race and the pirate cannon are made for small hands, see all our cards for kids.
- Teens: a street sprint, a hologram with a video from friends or a card that reads their own face.
- Adults: keep it elegant. A balloon ride, a cake with candles to blow out, or a photo card with a short video message.
- Milestones: for a 30th, 50th or 80th, a hologram with messages from everyone is the best gift on the table.
What to write in a birthday card
The animation breaks the ice, so the text can be short. Three building blocks that always work:
- A wish: "Happy birthday, have a wonderful day."
- A memory or a compliment: one line about why you like them.
- A look ahead: "See you at the party" or "Let's catch up soon."
If you are stuck, our guide what to write in a birthday card has thirty examples.
Plan the arrival
Choose the arrival date at checkout and we post the card at the right moment, so it is on the mat on the birthday itself and not three days early. For a last-minute wish there is always the e-card.
