The first card of a new life
A birth announcement is the one card everybody keeps. We make it a little more: the printed card has the photo, the name and the details, like any announcement. But when grandma scans it, the stork takes off and flies around the card with the baby's name on a banner. The card goes on the fridge, and the stork is played for every visitor.
For the parents
- Choose a design before the birth and fill in the details on the day itself. The editor saves your draft.
- Add all the addresses in one go. We post every card, with your return address on it.
- Order a few extra for the baby book and for the grandparents who want a copy.
For friends and family
Not the parents? These cards also work the other way around: send a card to congratulate them, with a photo of yourself holding a sign, and a wish for the little one. The dragon egg card is a favourite: scan it and the egg hatches.
What to write
- The name, the date, the time and the weight. Those four lines are the card.
- One sentence from the parents: "We are over the moon."
- For the sibling: "Big sister Sofie is very proud."
Keep the font large and the colours soft; the animation adds the rest.
